TEA TIME | BENEFITS OF DRINKING TEA

I  like to start my mornings with a cup of tea (ok ok, not just mornings, as a matter of fact, I'm drinking tea now), green tea, white tea, peppermint, pu-erh tea, you name it, I love all types of tea, seriously, I'm such a tea person, there's a possibility I drink too much of it.
When I was younger, like way younger I wouldn't even drink water, like at all, I know it sounds weird, but I only drank tea, at least now I drink water too.
Lately I've been loving coffee too, but tea is still a priority, so I realized, that I need to make a post dedicated to it, I will let you know briefly why drinking tea is very beneficial for you and your health.

GREEN TEA
Supports immune system, improves activity in the working-memory of  your brain, clears up the skin & is very hydrating. Favorite tea to drink in the morning for sure!

MATCHA GREEN TEA
Increases energy levels, enhances mood, boosts immune system, detoxifies, boosts concentration and improves skin.
I absolutely love drinking matcha with a bit of plant based milk, and some sort of sweetener,  you can use sugar, honey, whatever you like, I really want to buy a proper matcha latte making kit though.

PEPPERMINT TEA
Clears skin, stops bloating, helps with weight loss, relieves stress and corrects digestion problems.
Yum! So refreshing, it's perfect for those who enjoys that minty taste and aroma.

WHITE TEA
Helps to reduce the risk of premature aging, aids in maintaining healthy and youthful skin, also rich in antioxidant and antibacterial  properties.
Perfect before sleep, as it has probably the least amount of caffeine in it, really lovely mild taste and aroma.

PU-ERH TEA
Protects stomach and teeth, has anti-aging properties and helps with weight loss.
Love the taste of this one, kind of reminds me of black tea, but not really, would say that it's even tastier to be honest and little less strong.

GINGER TEA
Relieves stress, helps with fighting cough and cold, boosts immunity, improves blood circulation and reduces inflammation.
It's basically just ginger with hot water (I usually prefer to just add ginger to green tea), but it's very refreshing and great for your health, I find it really enjoyable, but it depends if you like that gingery spice or not.

CHAMOMILE TEA
Fights infections associated with colds, promotes restful sleep and soothes the stomach.
I find chamomile tea very soothing and calming, great for a relaxing evening.

BLACK TEA
Has anti-inflammatory properties, promotes skin and hair health, increases energy.
I don't really drink black tea as often, however, just like matcha green tea, I really enjoy this one with just a bit of any plant based milk, or even with some spices added, such as cinammon, nutmeg or ground ginger.

Of course, there are many more types of tea, but these are the main ones, that I drink, however I'm always open to trying out different types of tea, so do let me know if you have any suggestions!

Do you drink tea? and what sort of tea is your favorite?
